Clarendon School (4-6 grade)
"I am a student at this school, and I love it! There are no bullies,
or anything to harm anyone. The teachers are well educated and teach me
a lot of math, science, social skills, history, reading, and more.
Clarendon has very good after school programs. They also have programs
like P.A.C., or Champions that let the student stay after school until
their parents come pick them up. I love Clarendon. I would let my child
go if I were you."

"I brought my children (3) to the Clarendon and Encanto Dual Language
programs after 6 years at an excelling charter school (Khalsa). I find
the staff much more attentive to student's needs. My children come home
glowing with happiness each day and thank me for changing their schools.
I have wanted to do the switch for years- and I have
to admit that I was concerned that my children might suffer
academically. Not so. They are challenged to perform at their highest
level. They alternate between two classrooms every week learning all
subjects in English and the following week in Spanish. They are already
reading and writing in Spanish. My daughter is in the Clarendon Ballet
program as well- up to four days a week if she chooses. I never imagined
we could be this happy with a traditional public school!"

"Clarendon is a lovely school with a warm and inviting staff.
Children moving from the sister campus (Encanto K-3) up to the 4th grade
have an easy transition as the campus's are connected. The school
psychologist Mr. Caswell is well educated and always goes above and
beyond to ensure that the services a student needs are met. This campus
hosts a variety of special needs classrooms that are self contained. The
Social Skills and MIMR/MOMR rooms are extremely well run, and supported
by high functioning staff. Clarendon is adorned with beautiful gardens
planted by the students, along with murals and mosaics. This is a campus
that is sure to capture a parents attention with its outstanding
academics and staff."

on that campus are incredible and you can tell they love children and
their job! Encanto has a lot to offer. My children love the after school
programs Encanto offers."

"My child goes to school here and she is in a self contained
classroom and also mainstreamed into regular classes and she loves it.
When she first started school here she would have frequent outbursts and
limited speech. Now she a calmer child and her speech has hugely
improved. I would recommend this school to for any child. They always
have activities going on the school has recently been remodeled and it
looks great."

"I brought my children (3) to the Encanto and Clarendon Dual Language
programs after 6 years at an excelling charter school (Khalsa). I find
the staff much more attentive to student's needs. My son needs speech
therapy, and they scheduled an IEP (individual education plan) meeting
within the first week. His old charter school had neglected to follow
federal laws to serve all students over 3. My children come home glowing
with happiness each day. I have wanted to switch them for years- I work
for Osborn- and I have to admit that I was concerned that my children
might suffer academically. Not so. They are challenged to perform at
their highest level. They alternate between two classrooms every week

are happy to do their homework in English and Spanish- without
reminding! Imagine!"

Longview School (Preschool - 6th grade)
"Our daughter attends kindergarten at Longview (Mr. L's class). She
loves her class activities, her homework, her friends and her teachers.
She is thriving! Although this is a large class of 30 students Mr. L and
his full time assistant Ms. M do a wonderful job of educating and caring
for our child."

"I have had a child in dual language for two years and it has been an
incredible experience with highly motivated teachers. The range of
supports for families, the dedication of the principal and the
extra-curricular activities are a model for what schools should be - a
learning center for the community."

"I highly recommend MCS to any parent. MCS is a school where children
and their families come first. The principal and her staff are
outstanding. The teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out
the best in each child. You can tell, with the label 'Performing
School'. They have a number of programs for both students and parents,
including Pre-k, full day Kindergarten, and Head Start. They also have a
number of programs that help enrich the learning process, including
breakfast in the classroom, free lunch to all students, after school
snacks, and kid's cafe. City of Phoenix sponsored after school program
is great for parents who work later than school pickup time. Mandatory
uniforms help with a great discipline program, and help is available for
those that can not afford uniforms."

Osborn Middle School (7th - 8th grade)
"I am very satisfied with the leadership at OMS, quality of
work/dedication of the entire school staff towards students and parents.
My son s transition to OMS was carefully managed by experienced academic
counselors/teachers. He received the necessary academic evaluations to
determine the best academic fit for his capacity and to ensure his
overall potential will continue to be challenged for future successes.
Teachers observe students so they can meet their immediate academic
requests and challenge their potential. Every day, my son has a positive
comment to make about the pleasant attitude from the staff. As a parent,
I respect very much the hard work being done at OMS, the truthful
commitment from teachers to our teenagers success, the professional and
caring manner in which OMS is educating our teenagers. OMS teaches the
importance and value of education, healthy relations among people, and
respect for our school community."

"I am a Registered Nurse of 37 years and have had the opportunity and
pleasure of substituting for the School Nurse. The respect, polite and
well organized large group of students has been far beyond my wildest
dreams. There is no end to: Good Morning, thank you, excuse me, warm
smiles, happy faces, opening the door, and , can I help you? The
Teachers, and all the administration seem to know all the students by
first name and always have kind words for them. Most touching - early in
the AM , over the loud speaker, the Principal will announce, 'all stand
for the Pledge of Allegiance', every man, woman and even students
waiting in the school nurse office will stand with hand over heart and
recite with the Principal, The Pledge of Allegiance. If I had
grandchildren, Osborn Middle School would certainly be choice. Keep up
the good work Osborn Middle School. Arlene Copley."

Both my children attended Osborn Middle School, and have gone on to
great success in high school and college. They truly appreciate
different people from different backgrounds, and are not afraid of
others because of their color or language. The teachers and principals
here have worked hard to make this a true middle school, designed to
meet the needs of 12 anad 13-year old children. It is not simply a
mini-high school. Focus is on the individual child and what that child
needs to have to succeed. The Honors classes have been expanded over the
past 2 years, adding more Algebra and advanced Literacy classes. Don't
just read the comments--Any parent looking for a great middle school
should visit and sit in classes and talk to teachers and kids about the
school. You will be amazed at how caring and highly professional Osborn
Middle School people are.

"I am a library volunteer at Osborn Middle School. I am a retired
teacher trainer/university instructor. I have come in contact with
numerous middle school teachers and administrators in my career. I have
found the OMS principal and vice principal to be two of the most
dedicated, passionate administrators I have ever seen. They are deeply
committed to ensuring maximum academic and personal growth for all
students. Discipline seems fair, consistent and appropriate. The OMS
teachers are enthusiastic and work hard to motivate students. They are
willing to go the extra mile. They use current methodology, such as
cooperative learning and differentiated instruction, to meet the needs
of all students. The OMS academic curriculum is closely aligned to state
standards. The atmosphere throughout the school is positive, accepting
and inclusive. I love this school."

"Every Year I fill out an out of district form for my daughter so
that she may attend Solano. I do so because the quality of the education
she is receiving is challenging and rewarding for her. The teachers,
staff, and administrators are wonderful and caring. I feel very
confident about my daughter's security while at school. I also
appreciate how cultural events and awareness is promoted year round.
Basically I am confident that Solano school is contributing to my
daughter's growth physically, academically, and socially in a positive
manner that I as a single father of two work very hard at each day. To
the Solano Teachers, staff, and administration I say Thanks. Sincerely
Alfred Lopez Sr."
