International Walk to School Day

On October 3rd, 2007, our school participated on International Walk to School Day.  Our students loved the high-fives from Ronald and Baxter.  Some 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th graders who got to shake hands and speak with the mayor were very impressed to have done so and will remember that opportunity. 

There was full team effort on making this happen.  Dr. Basnett (our District Superintendent) stepped up and of course did a graceful job of greeting and recounting her days of walking.  Thank you to all the staff, students and parents who participated and helped in making this a wonderful and memorable day.
