Osborn Educational Foundation 

  Overview

OUR PURPOSE is to provide resources to be used to support and enhance programs and activities, which cannot be funded from general school revenues, for the students of the Osborn School District. These programs and activities should enhance educational opportunities for students and keep them healthy and ready to learn.

OUR PHILOSOPHY is to seek meaningful and innovative ways to support children and their education. This includes support in new areas that includes funds, community partnerships and creative innovations in education.

Mission

The MISSION of the Osborn Educational Foundation is to provide resources to enrich the educational and cultural experiences of students in the Osborn School District.

Goals

• Support programs that improve Osborn students’ physical and mental health.

• Support programs that enhance literacy, math, sciences and the arts.

• Support programs that promote innovation and enhancement in education.

Our Vision

The Osborn Educational Foundation enhances unique educational opportunities for children which contribute to the Osborn Osborn School District becoming the premier district of choice in Phoenix.

Structure

The Board of Directors is made up of 15-25 members from the community.

The Board of Directors meets monthly.

Administrative costs average 5% of annual expenses.
