Assists
teacher in implementing instructional program under the teacher's supervision. Provides specialized educational support
(Braille, behavior management and signing). Will test and record student skills,
achievements, and progress. Assists
the teacher in maintaining a clean, attractive and safe learning environment.
Organizes and monitors the use of materials and supplies; supports clerical
needs. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus for any of these positions. MUST have Associate's degree or 60 hours
of college credit - or successfully pass State approved examination.

Administrative Assistant to the
Superintendent DOE ($13.26 - $14.17)
Summary: Performs a wide variety of complex and
diverse secretarial and administrative assistance duties for the
Superintendent and Governing Board Members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list is meant to be representative,

- Performs
and manages the daily activities of assigned office.
- Coordinates
communication between the administrator, Governing Board, staff and the
public.
- Obtains
and provides information and assists in resolving issues as appropriate.
- Prepares
correspondence, reports, forms, applications, requisitions and memoranda
independently or from oral direction; formats and prepares Board packet
materials.
- Attends
all regular Governing Board meetings and work-study sessions.
- Receives
and transcribes letters and memoranda, including confidential material.
- Organizes,
monitors and adjusts assignments to assure timely and proper completion.
- Performs
receptionist duties and initiates and answers telephone calls.
- Screens
and directs calls and visitors, takes and relays messages.
- Maintains
and organizes records and files including confidential information.
- Compiles
information and data; assists in preparation of reports.
- Verifies
data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with established
procedures.
- Orders,
issues and maintains department supplies, forms and equipment.
- Responds
to requests for information from students, staff and the general public
regarding District programs, policies, procedures and regulations.

Child Nutrition, Assistant Manager $10.66

Summary: Assists
Child Nutrition personnel at sites serving 1000 plus students. Assists with meeting mandated nutritional
needs according to USDA guidelines.
Adheres to quality standards, and complies with mandated health
requirements. Oversees cash

Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire date. Must regularly lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds in
accordance with risk management guidelines. Valid Arizona Driver’s License
Bus
Driver $12.24

- Drives a school bus
on assigned daily routes and on field trips, performs pre-trip vehicle
inspections.
- Maintains mileage
records and daily logs, informs mechanics of needed repairs and files
proper paper work orders.
- Documents discipline
problems and writes bus conduct reports.
- Prior bus driving
experience preferred.
- MUST safely
operate a school bus; maintain a valid commercial driver's license
(CDL); pass annual physical; drug and alcohol tests; maintain effective
working relationships with others; communicate effectively verbally and
in writing.
Bus Attendant (No openings at

$8.04 - $8.55 per hour DOE*; day school is in session
- Assists student as
they enter and exit the bus, supervises students to classrooms when
necessary.
- Documents and
maintains records of problems or unusual situations, informs driver,
teacher and/or parents of such problems.
- Must secure CPR
and First Aid Certificate within 30 days of date. (District will
provide training).
- Employee must
frequently lift and /or move 50 to 75 pounds.
Crossing
Guard (Open)
$7.66 - $8.11 DOE*; days school is in session
- Assists students
through intersections and thoroughfares at established crosswalks.
- Places and removes
traffic control signs,
- Performs additional
related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to
work outside under extremely high temperatures.
- Participate and
successfully complete the City of Phoenix
Crossing Guard Training.
