Osborn received the highest score for Parent Satisfaction of any Maricopa County elementary school district in 2009-10! Osborn values the contribution parents make to the school culture.

 

Curriculum Night

Parents are encouraged to attend the Curriculum Night at their child's school. This is an opportunity to learn about the education your child will be receiving throughout the year. Following are the dates for the 2011-2012 school year.
 

Clarendon School:

     Curriculum Night- August 30 at 6:00 pm

     Math/ Science Night- TBA

Encanto School:

     Curriculum Night- August 30 at 5:00 pm

     Math/ Science Night- TBA

Longview School:

     Curriculum Night- August 30, 4-6 pm

     Awards Assembly- May TBA

Osborn Middle School:

     Back to School Night- Sept. 1 at 6:00 pm

     OMS Expo 2012- March TBA

Solano School:

     Curriculum Night: Kindergarten, TBA

     Curriculum Night: other grades, TBA

     Family Science Night- TBA

 

Parent / Teacher Conferences

Parents are encouraged to meet with their child's teacher to discuss his or her progress in school. During the Parent/ Teacher conferences, school releases students 2 hours early, so that teachers can meet with parents. Each teacher prepares important data reflecting student progress. Please call your child's teacher to make an appointment.

Kindergarten through 8th Grade:

     October 6-7, 2011

     March 1-2, 2012

Coffee with the Principal

Each Osborn District school hosts opportunities for parents to meet with the principals to learn more about their child's school and to discuss any concerns they might have.

 

Volunteers and School Events
