Last year's month-long district summer school program served more than 700 children! Morning academic sessions focused on science and children needing a boost in their English skills– 81% of whom demonstrated more than 10% growth on assessments! The Robotics Gifted Program rounded out offerings. Afternoons were filled with 21st Century Enrichment programs. Students selected from eleven different classes, including the new swim partnership with St Joseph’s Hospital and the Firefighters Union. Students demonstrated a 39% gain on post-tests. The Award-winning Chinese Cultural Camp was held during the final week of June. Seventy Osborn students received scholarships to attend.
